Coboaters allow you to create your personnal address book. It is easy and simple.
How to find my address book:
Go to Message/Address book:
You will be directed to a dedicated address book page with several contacts categories and a search menu.
Awaiting a reply: Contact you sent a message to but did not reply to you yet
In touch with: People you already contacted and sent messages to
I sailed with: People you sailed with. Coboaters can only know whom you sailed with if you used the crew/notice management tool or if you posted a review.
External contacts: We allow you to add emails of non Coboaters members. It is a useful feature for boat owners who manages mutliple crew. Some of their crew are not necessary members. You can add them to your list and communicate with them. Of course it will be easier if they become members.
Blocked contact: You may refuse to receive communication from some members. You can block them. Contact will appear in this category.
How to add or block a member?
Go to the member's boater profile, scroll down and choose Add to contacts or Block user
How to add an external contact to my list
If you want to use Coboaters tool to share information about your boating adventures, you can easily add a name. Go to Add an external contact and fill up the form.
